Facility Program: Fall Prevention
Empowering Healthcare Staff to Reduce Fall Risk
The primary goal of this program is to educate healthcare staff on the significance of fall prevention, including understanding the burden of falls, identifying fall risk factors, and implementing best practices to reduce fall incidents within their facility.
Facility Program: Communication & Teamwork
Team STEPPS Program
TeamSTEPPS can significantly benefit your long-term care facility by enhancing teamwork, communication, and patient safety. Here are some ways it can help: improved resident outcomes, improved medication reconciliation, decreased staff turnover rates and enhanced teamwork and communication.
Facility Program: AFHS
Age-Friendly Health Systems Recognition
At least 1 staff person can lead the Age-Friendly Health System Recognition team from your executive leadership, administration staff, or clinicians. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of providing an AFHS to all older adults in your facility, along with how to align care with each older adult's health outcome goals and care preferences.
Facility Program: Dementia Care
Dementia CareForce
Gain practical hands-on skills to navigate challenging behaviors presented in people living with dementia. This program focuses on understanding unmet needs, problem-solving tools, and utilizing huddles for enhanced communication.
Facility Program: QAPI
QAPI Education Program
The ECRI Team will work with you to develop a Performance Improvement Plan using a continuous quality improvement approach. Their vetted tools, evidence-based practices, and educational content tailored to each facility’s unique needs.
Staff Program: Clinical Practices
Diabetes Care for Older Adults Certificate
This certificate program for nursing home clinicians caring for older adults with diabetes has multiple goals to enhance patient care and staff competency/knowledge.
Staff Program: QAPI
QAPI STARR Program
The QAPI STARR Ladder program offers education and training to SNF leaders to prepare them to guide QAPI practices throughout the facility, including facilitation of staff training. ECRI will collaborate with leaders on-site to discuss implementation of QAPI best practices and strategies to improve QAPI programs within their organization.

Long-Term Care RISE ECHO
This series seeks to empower facility administration and staff to improve health outcomes for residents facing challenges related to age-friendly care, by providing an innovative and evidence-based approach to increasing high-quality care for residents in the communities where they live.
Leadership Program: Fall Prevention
The Falls Management Program
Leaders meet one time virtually to learn how to improve fall care processes and outcomes through educational and quality improvement tools. While not all falls and injuries can be prevented, the program emphasizes the importance of a systematic process of assessment, intervention, and monitoring to minimize fall risk.
