What is the main objective of the Empowering Healthcare Staff to Reduce Fall Risk Program?
The primary goal of this program is to educate healthcare staff on the significance of fall prevention, including understanding the burden of falls, identifying fall risk factors, and implementing best practices to reduce fall incidents within their facility. The training will cover a range of topics, including the burden of falls, screening and assessing fall risks, appropriate interventions after a fall, integrating fall prevention into daily practice, and discussing case studies and best practices.

Who should attend this training program?
This training is designed for all LTC staff who play a role in patient care and safety. Our partner, ECRI, understands time on the floor and changing shifts can impact your staff's ability to attend traing. For this reason, the program is offered as mutlitple sessions throughout the day for all staff to attend.


How will the training be conducted?
The training will be hands-on and interactive, featuring presentations, case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises to ensure participants can apply what they learn in real-world scenarios.
