What is the IP Geek Infection Prevention Program?
This is a comprehensive 12-week course designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in infection prevention. The program covers a wide range of topics, including hygiene practices, infection control protocols, and other topics.
Who can participate in the IP Geek Infection Prevention Program?
The program is open for staff in Infection Prevention related roles, or for IP Champions at their facility, and is interested in improving their understanding of IP.
How is the program delivered?
This virtual back-to-basics program offers fun laid back learning, open discussion, and the sharing of ideas and strategies. The content is delivered in: 6 Didactic Sessions (2 per month) 3 Coaching/Networking Calls (1 per month)
What are the benefits of completing the IP Geek Infection Prevention Program?
This program supports Infection Prevention resiliency and helps you build a network of IP peers.
Will CEs be offered?
Participants will earn 6.5 CEs upon completion of the course.
When do the cohorts run?
Join the Fall or Spring Cohort:
- October 2 to December 19, 2024*
- March 5 to May 21, 2025*
*each class runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
