Emergency Management Office Hours

What is the Emergency Management Office Hours?

The Emergency Management Office Hours are held bi-monthly. Each session focuses on a different emergency management topic and includes a breakout session for participants to discuss related thoughts and strategies with others in their region. Participants will submit attendance at the end of the session to receive CEs.

Who should register to attend?

The EM Office Hours is open to all emergency management professionals and other stakeholders involved in emergency preparedness and response in LTC facilities. It’s designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.

Where are EM Office Hours held?

The EM Office Hours and Break Out Sessions are held via Zoom bi-monthly on the first Friday of the Month from 11 am - 12:30 pm. Registrants will receive a calendar invite for the entire series or can attend the dates they are available for.

What is the benefit in participating?

After the main exercise, participants will be divided into regional breakout groups. These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss the exercise scenario, share insights, and develop region-specific strategies.
